This wonderful dog was rescued from a high-kill shelter as a puppy because her foster mom thought she was "just one of those special ones". As hard as we try to find the best homes for these rescue dogs, sometimes our efforts fail and that is what happened in this case. Ms. Monkey Belle was brought back to rescue because her previous owner did not keep up on the shots and did not have her spayed. So now that all of Belle's medical needs have been taken care of, rescue is looking for a home that will not only love and play with her but will also pay attention to Belle's medical needs that include giving her heartworm prevention and getting her the yearly shots required. Ms. Monkey Belle is heartworm negative and has now been spayed. This beautiful dog loves other dogs and the pitter patter of the little feet of children. What a great combination. One of Ms. Monkey Belle's favorite past time game is catching the ice that I toss to her. Yeap you are correct, does not take much to entertain me. I think a any family would love to have this great dog as part of their family. She is truely a treasure!

Butch is a wonderful 45 pound lab mix. Butch would love a family to call his own. Butch obviously has had a family that taught him some manners however they did not love him enough to keep him up to date on his heartworm prevention. Poor Butch is heartworm positive however it will be treated soon. Butch loves other dogs and loves kids. Look at this striking coloring. Isnt he handsome. Butch is already neutered and UDT on shots but positive for heartworms.

Updated June 13, 2006-This girl came from a concerned family who found this her running the streets and felt that this was not a proper place for a baby to be. Dory is a 1 1/2 yr old terrier mix who loves to play with her other foster brothers and sisters. She keeps her foster mother laughing. Often we find her throwing her toys up in the air. Dory is approximately 30 lbs, up to date on all shots and already spayed. Dory, loves to learn and would make a great addition to an active family. Dory would enjoy a family who is looking to teach a young lady how to be a respectable member of today's society. Are you that family?

This 3-4 yr old redbone or redbone mix is very quiet and only about 45 pounds. Sadie likes other dogs of both sexes and kids. What a great combination for a perfect dog. If you are looking for that special companion, check this girl out.

Reba is a very sweet beagle/ possibly dachshund mix who loves to sit on the couch and cuddle. Reba loves her foster brothers and sisters and enjoys running around in the backyard with them. Reba is probably around 2-3 years old. Reba would make a great dog for someone that has quiet children and enjoys spending time hanging out with them. Are you that family that has a loving heart?

Hannah is a wonderful girl who came into rescue because her former owners let her run. Originally when we picked this girl up she was "way to skinny" so we have been working to "fatten this girl up". Wow who among us with we had to do this? Ha Ha but not good for a little thing like Ms. Hannah. After a good bath and pedicure, one quickly realizes how sweet this little girl really is. Hannah loves to be held and talked to. Hannah would like a family that will show her how wonderful she really is. Are you that family?
