| ABOUT THIS DOG: THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING, PLEASE CONTACT THE FOSTER MOM, LINDA AT 804-837 1016. This wonderful dog was rescued from a high-kill shelter as a puppy because her foster mom thought she was "just one of those special ones". As hard as we try to find the best homes for these rescue dogs, sometimes our efforts fail and that is what happened in this case. Ms. Monkey Belle was brought back to rescue because her previous owner did not keep up on the shots and did not have her spayed. So now that all of Belle's medical needs have been taken care of, rescue is looking for a home that will not only love and play with her but will also pay attention to Belle's medical needs that include giving her heartworm prevention and getting her the yearly shots required. We are happy to report she passed with flying colors. Luckily, Ms. Monkey Belle is heartworm negative and scheduled to be spayed on April 6, 2005. This beautiful dog loves other dogs and the pitter patter of the little feet of children. What a great combination. I had a great time playing with this dog when I met her. She plays a great game of catch the ice! I would throw ice in the air and the dog would catch it before it would hit the ground. Yeap you are correct, does not take much to entertain me. I think a family would love to have this great dog as part of their family. She is truely a treasure! | |

Lucille is a wonderful 35- 40 lb redtick coonhound who we believe is under 2 years old. She is up to date on all shots and already spayed. Lucille came from a high-kill shelter as a stray. Lucille is a bit on the shy side but quickly warms up to her human friends. Lucille is a wonderful around other dogs and children. Lucille would be a wonderful addition to any family. |
