In Gratitude

Second Chance Dog Rescue was founded in July, 2003 by Lisa Roosa and Jesse Reeve. Both have a strong love for dogs and wanted to help homeless dogs find a "second chance" at new and loving homes. Most of the dogs that come into Second Chance Dog Rescue were either on their final days or very close to it. Each of the dogs that are taken into our rescue are examined by a veterinarian and provided with all shots, as well as they are neutered or spayed and heart worm tested. The majority of the dogs are often very sick and may also need time to just "feel better".

Second Chance Rescue would like to thank the following persons or groups for their continued support. Many of these people have helped with everything from providing encouragement to Jesse and I, to helping us keep up with all the dogs and their day to day needs, to helping to hold dogs at the doggie adoption days or providing us with very generous items for our homeless animals. It is through their generous support that we are able to continue to help these homeless animals.
