Second Chance Dog Rescue is in need of volunteers to help with the animals.  If you, your son/daughter, husband/wife, boy scout/girl scout troops, church group, etc is in need of volunteer hours, why not consider coming out to Second Chance and volunteering for a few hours?  We can use your time in so many ways.  Our rescue needs people to make phone calls, update paperwork, clean kennels, play with the dogs and more.  The great part is that it does not cost you any money!  Please contact us at 540-752-1741.

1.  Gift cards from PETCO and PETSMART.

         

2.    Volunteers to assist with kennel responsibilities

3.    Volunteers to help socialize dogs

4.    Dog toys (especially tennis balls, rope toys, puppy kongs & puppy toys) 

5.   Stuffed animals (The ones your kids have outgrown are fine)

6.    Dog treats

7.    Large metal bowls

8.    Large metal crates

9.    Metal crate bottoms (can be purchased at Petsmart)

10.  Xtra large plastic crate

11.  Dog food (we use Nature's Recipe Lamb & Rice and Nature's Recipe Puppy Lamb and Rice)

12.  Baby food (any type of meat base)

13.  Heart Worm prevention and Frontline Plus

14.  Paper towels

15.  Clorox

16.  Leashes and collars

17.  Sweaters to fit small dogs

18.  Money donations may be made to Aquia-Garrisonville Animal Hospital in Stafford, VA (please annotate Second Chance Rescue in the memo section when writing a check) or to the Virginia Kincheloe Spay/Neuter Clinic (please annotate Second Chance Rescue in the memo section when writing a check)
